Fall 2023-24 Core Curriculum

    Tumbling 200 (Ages 5-8) - Saturdays

    Tumbling 200 is for our progressing tumblers and focuses on intermediate and advanced tumble and acrobatic skills such as front and back walkovers, cartwheel variations, chin stand variations, sugar rolls, handstand tricks and more! Classes are 45 minutes and every Saturday from 12:00-12:45 PM. Appropriate Dancewear is required.

    Required prerequisite: Tumbling 101 or equivalent experience

    Hip Hop 200 (Ages 8-12) - Mondays

    Hip Hop 200 is for our progressing Hip Hop dancers and focuses on the latest hip-hop moves and technique, while promoting physical health and agility. Classes are 45 minutes, held on Mondays from 5:00- 5:45PM. Comfortable t-shirts, shorts or sweatpants and tennis shoes are required.

    Required prerequisite: Hip Hop 101 or equivalent experience

    Hip Hop 200 (Ages 8-12) - Saturdays

    Hip Hop 200 is for our progressing Hip Hop dancers and focuses on the latest hip-hop moves and technique, while promoting physical health and agility. Classes are 45 minutes, held on Saturdays from 10:00 - 10:45 AM. Comfortable t-shirts, shorts or sweatpants and tennis shoes are required.

    Required prerequisite: Hip Hop 101 or equivalent experience

    Lyrical 200 (Ages 7-11) - Wednesdays

    Lyrical is a blend of jazz style and ballet technique supported by expressive movement that shows emotion and tells a story! Dancers will work on the technique needed to make lyrical visually beautiful and the storytelling that makes them an artist! Students will work on technique and combinations across the floor and center-floor as well as improvisational exercises. Classes are 45 mins every Wednesday from 6:00-6:45 PM. Leotard, sports bra, dance shorts or leggings, and Body Wrappers lyrical shoes by Angelo Luzio in TAN (style: 621A) or Capezio 'Turning Point 55' pirouette shoes by Sophia Lucia in NUDE (style: H063W).

    One or more of our Experienced 100-301 classes or equivalent experience. Dancer can also take one of the Experienced level classes along with the Lyrical class to satisfy the requirement.

    Ballet 300 (Ages 10-15) - Thursdays

    Ballet 300 is for our experienced ballet dancers and focuses on advancing techniques and skills. Classes are 75 minutes and every Thursday from 5:00-6:15 PM. Black Leotard, pink tights and 'Hanami' split-sole ballet shoes w/out drawstring in PINK (Capezio 2037W).

    Required prerequisites:

    1-2 years of Experienced 300 level or equivalent experience or a minimum of 2 years of ballet training on a recreational level (or higher). Placement and recommendation by HDC staff required (this can be done in class or by private evaluation).

    Class Duration per week & Tuition Rates per month:

    • 30 min - $65/month
    • 45 min - $80/month
    • 60 min - $90/month
    • 75 min - $100/month
    • 90 min - $105/month
    • 1.75 hrs - $110/month
    • 2 hrs - $115/month
    *Additional classes - $20 per class per month. The longest class calculated first.

    • Earlybird: $10 off tuition
    • Siblings: 20% off tuition
    • Boys: 50% off tuition

    TUITION

    • Tuition is due by the 5th of each month. Early-bird discounts of $10 off total family tuition will be applied if payment is received on or before the 5th of the month. After the 10th of the month, a $22 late fee will be applied to any past due account. No exceptions are able to be made regarding the late payment policy.
    • Tuition can be paid in-person or online through the family portal.
    • Autopay is available, and will ensure that your family receives the early-bird discount. See a front desk staff member if you are interested in signing up for autodraft.

    REGISTRATION FEE & RECITAL FEES

    • Registration Fee: $55 per student OR $70 per family, annually.
    • Recital Costume Fee: Range from $80-$160 per class, depending on which class the student is taking.
    • Recital Participation Fee: $165 per student OR $175 per family (if siblings are dancing).
    • Recital fees help to cover all of the costs involved in presenting a professional production that all of our students and families can be very proud of! This fee includes but is not limited to: tickets to the show, recital t-shirt for the student(s), family program, award for the student(s), auditorium rental for dress rehearsal and the show, professional stage props and equipment, clean up crew, and a sound and lighting team who work backstage.
    • Drop-In Rate: Certain classes allow a student to 'drop-in' and pay by the class. Usually these classes are designated on the schedule as open, adult, or continuing education! The drop-in rate is $25 for a one-hour class and $30 for a 90-minute class. Students under the age of 18 are only allowed two drop-in classes per month, otherwise we require that they register for the class.
