Fall 2026-27 Core Curriculum
Hip Hop 200 (Ages 8-12) - Mondays
Hip Hop 200 is for our progressing Hip Hop dancers and focuses on the latest hip-hop moves and technique, while promoting physical health and agility. Classes are 45 minutes, held on Mondays from 5:00- 5:45PM. Comfortable t-shirts, shorts or sweatpants and tennis shoes are required.
Required prerequisite: Hip Hop 101 or equivalent experience
Hip Hop 300 (Ages 12 & up) Saturdays
Hip Hop 300 is for our progressing Hip Hop dancers and focuses on the latest hip-hop moves and technique, while promoting physical health and agility. Classes are 45 minutes, held on Saturdays from 10:15 - 11:00AM. Comfortable t-shirts, shorts or sweatpants and tennis shoes are required.
Required prerequisite: Hip Hop 101 or equivalent experience
Lyrical 200 (Ages 7-11) Wednesdays or Saturdays
Lyrical is a blend of jazz style and ballet technique supported by expressive movement that shows emotion and tells a story! Dancers will work on the technique needed to make lyrical visually beautiful and the storytelling that makes them an artist! Students will work on technique and combinations across the floor and center-floor as well as improvisational exercises. Classes are 45 mins, offered either every Wednesday from 6:00-6:45PM, or Saturday from 11:00-11:45AM. Leotard, sports bra, dance shorts or leggings, and Body Wrappers lyrical shoes by Angelo Luzio in TAN (style: 621A) or Capezio 'Turning Point 55' pirouette shoes by Sophia Lucia in NUDE (style: H063W).
Prerequisite: One or more of our Experienced 100-301 classes or equivalent experience. Dancer can also take one of the Experienced level classes along with the Lyrical class to satisfy the requirement.

2026-27 RECREATIONAL PROGRAM PRICING
Monthly Tuition
Tuition is based on the length of the dancer's primary weekly class:
- 30 minutes - $70/month
- 45 minutes - $85/month
- 60 minutes - $95/month
- 75 minutes - $105/month
- 90 minutes - $110/month
- 1 hour 45 minutes - $115/month
- 2 hours - $125/month
Additional Classes: $25 per additional class, per month. The longest class is calculated first at the regular tuition rate.

- ACH Auto-Draft: $10 off total monthly family tuition
- Sibling Discount: 20% off tuition
- Boys Discount: 50% off tuition
TUITION
- For the 2026-27 dance season, tuition is based on a 10.5-month season for both Recreational and Company dancers, Tuition runs through June 2026.
- Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and must be set up for automatic payment through the HDC Parent Portal beginning September 1, 2026. Monthly tuition will be processed between the 1st and 10th of each month using the credit card, debit card, or bank/ACH account designated for automatic payment in the Parent Portal.
- Families enrolled in automatic tuition payments by bank account draft/ACH will receive a $10 monthly tuition discount.
- A $22 late fee will be applied to accounts with unpaid tuition after the 10th of the month and will continue to be assessed each month until the account is brought current.
- A $35 fee will be charged for any returned payment, including NSF checks or unsuccessful electronic payments.
- Monthly tuition is based on the full season and does not change due to absences, holidays, studio closures already built into the season calendar, or the number of class meetings in a particular month.
REGISTRATION FEE & RECITAL FEES
- Registration Fee: $55 for one dancer OR $70 per family, annually.
- Recital Costume Fee: Generally estimated between $80-$150 per costume.
- Recital Participation Fee: Generally estimated between $185-$225 per dancer OR $215-$250 per family, depending on the season and applicable recital structure. Final amounts and due dates will be communicated during the season.
- Participation in HDC's year-end recital is an important part of the season for dancers enrolled in recital-participating classes.
- Classes specifically marked "No Recital Performance" do not participate in the recital unless otherwise communicated by the instructor/directors.
- Recital fees help to cover all of the costs involved in presenting a professional production that all of our students and families can be very proud of! This fee includes but is not limited to: tickets to the show, recital t-shirt for the student(s), family program, award for the student(s), auditorium rental for dress rehearsal and the show, professional stage props and equipment, clean up crew, and a sound and lighting team who work backstage.
