Here are our 2026 Summer Camp Offers

Calling all princesses and princes! Your royal experience awaits at HDC’s Crowns and Gowns dance camp. Your little one is cordially invited to twirl, spin, and dance their hearts out. Campers will have the opportunity to express themselves through movement and creativity, guided by our experienced instructors who will help them develop their dance skills and gain confidence.
Participants will learn ballet fundamentals, play games, and make crafts in a fun, fairytale environment.
This experience will be filled with other exciting activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Each child will leave with new skills, new friends, and a sense of accomplishment. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of dance and creativity in each child who attends Crowns and Gowns Dance Camp!
Price includes instruction, games, craft supplies, and a daily snack.
No prior dance experience required—every young royal is welcome!

• Monday – Thursday, June 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th 9:00am-12:00pm
• WEAR: Comfy dance clothes you can move in. Dressing up in tutus, tiaras, capes, or royal attire is encouraged!
• BRING: A water bottle + ballet shoes (if you have them) + your favorite crown or gown!

Theme snacks will be provided – Please notify HDC staff of any dietary restrictions.

Join us for a week of dance, magic, and fairytale fun!

Step into the wild for an unforgettable animal-themed dance adventure! Your little one is invited to hop, prowl, stomp, and groove in this four-day camp inspired by the playful world of animals and music from Zootopia 2. Each day will be filled with beginner dance moves, imaginative games, and creative fun that brings animal characters to life.
Campers will explore tap dance fundamentals through animal-inspired choreography, including quiet vs. loud movement, rhythm games, and call and response exercises. Dancers will also create their own animal ear crafts—and may even get to wear them for our end-of-camp showcase! Children are encouraged to bring a favorite stuffed animal to join in the fun and spark imaginative play.
Our experienced instructors create a fun, supportive environment where dancers can move, create, and express themselves with confidence. This camp is designed to spark imagination, encourage self-expression, and build joyful connections through music and movement. Each child will leave with new dance skills, new friends, and lots of happy memories.
No prior dance experience required—everyone is welcome to join in the fun!

• WEAR: Comfy dance clothes you can move in. Dressing up in animal or Zootopia-themed outfits is encouraged!
• BRING: A water bottle + tap shoes (if you have them) + an animal stuffy

This 4-class session combines the fundamentals of basic muscle control with the latest K-pop inspired hip hop moves! Students will be introduced to choreography and learn how to direct power and isolation to different parts of the body, as well as learn how to channel the attitude of their favorite K-pop stars. Students will increase in coordination, rhythm, and flexibility. Please wear comfy clothes and tennis shoes.

• Mondays (June 1, 8, 15, 22) 5:00-5:45pm
• WEAR: Comfy clothes or dance attire that you can move in + tennis shoes!

Dancers will focus on learning more advanced combinations & techniques focused specifically on Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary styles. Students will improve on mental and physical agility as well as overall style. Classes will include deep stretching, conditioning, leaps, turns and more challenging combinations center floor.  

• Wednesdays (June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th) 5:00-6:30pm
• WEAR: Fitted dance clothes, example: leotard, tights, dance shorts, leggings, sports bra, tanktop, etc. Pirouettes or Jazz shoes
• BRING: A water bottle

This introductory 4-week session combines the fundamentals of basic muscle control with the latest hip hop moves! Instructors will guide each child as they learn to adjust to a classroom environment while being encouraged to have fun! Students will be introduced to choreography and learn how to direct power and isolation to different parts of the body, as well as learn how to channel the attitude of the (age appropriate) music. They will increase in coordination, rhythm, and flexibility. Students will also work on basic tumbling progressions: forward rolls, backward rolls, handstand drills, and cartwheels.

• Mondays (June 1, 8, 15, 22) 4:15-5:00pm
• WEAR:Comfy clothes or dance attire shoes that you can move in + tennis shoes!

Experience the joy of movement with your little one at HDC’s Tint Tot Jamboree! This special weekly class is designed for toddlers (1-3 years) and their caregivers to explore music, movement, and connection in a fun and nurturing environment.
Each session will include gentle guided movement, playful dance activities, and interactive songs to support early motor skills, coordination, and social development. It’s the perfect way to bond, explore, and make memories together!
No dance experience is needed—just bring your little one, a smile, and a willingness to move!

• Thursdays (June 4, 11, 18, 25) 3:30-4:15pm
• WEAR: Comfortable clothing for both child and caregiver. Bare feet or socks recommended!

This four-week summer class series is designed for dancers Exp 201 and up, or those with 2+ years of intermediate to advanced dance experience who are ready to level up their knowledge and skill of jazz dance.
Explore the different facets of jazz dance while improving creativity and overall dance skill. Dancers will learn what makes jazz such a complex and rewarding style of dance and gain new skills in jazz technique. Dance to your favorite musical theater numbers, current popular music, and classic jazz tunes. Jazz Lab will be taught in a workshop style, combining teacher-led instruction and dancer-led ideas. Master the art of rhythm and style in an active, dancer-centered environment designed to foster a love of jazz dance!

• Wednesdays (July 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th) 5:00-6:30pm
• WEAR: Fitted dance clothes, pirouette or jazz shoes
• BRING: A water bottle + your creativity!

Prereq: Exp 202+ OR Apprentice Co. level+ OR 3+ years equivalent dance experience, ages 9-13

This 90-minute class focuses on perfecting the foundation of your technique while pushing you to refine your leaps, turns, flexibility, and overall strength. Designed for dancers at the Apprentice and Pre-Competition level, this class emphasizes precision, alignment, and control to help you shine in any style. Whether you're working on your technique for competitions or simply leveling up your dance game, this class is perfect for dancers ready to bring their skills to new heights. Wear comfortable clothes and bring your best attitude!
